Shrine adornments
A specialty product I make for sacred spaces and shrines with pyrography- the burning of wood to create a design. I burn images into pieces of wood, using the unique texture and grain of the wood as a backdrop for the designs. Mediums I primarily work with are runic and ogham inscriptions, bindrune images, and other sacred designs. More complicated art work to come and will be listed separately. Smaller adornments have a keyhole in the back so they can be hung from the wall or can stand independently on a shrine or altar. Larger adornments are built to stand independently either as triangular or rectangular pieces. Many of the triangular pieces started out as scraps either from timber framing projects, or tree felling for forest restoration and fuels reduction work I do.
