The work I do in the forests of Northern California to bring back Good Fire, revive stand health, and preserve old growth trees feeds directly into my art within the medium of wood work, pyrography, and sacred design. I am deeply inspired by the many shapes and patterns I see in nature and seek to highlight that as a woodworker. Below are the types of products I have for sale, from lathe turned bowls/cups/plates, to fire burned sacred art, and a couple niche musical items. Much of my material is gleaned from forest restoration projects, scrap wood scavenged from the urban sphere, or a by-product of orchards in my local area. In some cases I buy milled wood, but I never buy tropical or endangered species as I view this to be an unethical aspect of modern wood working culture. To get more details about the kinds of wood I work in and the products I create with it head over to my Woodworking page for a gallery of options.

Some items listed below are one of a kind, and others like the bowls are constantly evolving, changing and new stock is added. See my Instagram page for more current projects to get a sense of what I have in stock. But custom projects are welcomed and encouraged! Email me at patrick@sylvanartsrevival.com for inquiries. Items with an * after them are in stock custom pieces or sets at a set price. All other items come with variable options.

*Pictured is a cut from a tan oak I took on a densely overpopulated stand in Mendocino County I did as part of grant work in the fall of 2025 to reduce fuel load and maintain a mature black oak forest.
